COMPLETE America in Space sterling silver mini-coin collection offered by the Franklin Mint on the occasion of the fifteenth anniversary of America's first manned orbit of earth.
It is a limited edition offered in 1977
They come in a nice wooden case with cover
All of these silver mini coins are in outstanding shape! The are very shiny!
This collection has 60 (all different!) small sterling silver coins commemorating the space race. Those coins are in any way exactly like the larger ones usually offered in those two blue "America In Space" Albums, only those mini coins are smaler (they are about 12mm in diameter each, about 0.5 inch).

One Medal is made of pure Silver (1 oz) the other one contains flown material.
First Man in Space 30th Anniversary Medal issued by the Baikonur Cosmodrome, USSR on April 12, 1991, the exact 30th anniversary flight aboard Vostok I.
The medal bears the profile of Yuri Gargarin, the first man to travel in space. The Vostok I is pictured on the reverse.
This is a beautiful medal and is minted from the metal of a Soviet space craft actually flown into space.
Both medals are 1 1/2 inches in diameter and in great condition!

This set was the top prize on special silver strike machines in that area. If you hit the jackpot, an attendant brought you the set.
